Talk:Clan list
From FuryWiki
[edit] Alphabetic
Let's keep the layout as alphabetic (and spaced), please. It's clearly the easiest way for people to quickly find info about a certain guild. MeatMan (talk) 19:21, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Editing
Can anyone else enter any more information to the page? For me it says that spam protection is on even though the sites that it says are spam are already on the page for numerous clans. Nakid 09:31, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- You can email me the site info and I can put it up for you. Perhaps there's a limit to the number of links allowed on a page. I'm not really sure. Maybe I can put it up as a sysop. Anyhow, send it to OckhamsInFury@Yahoo.com.
- It may be thinking that, but I haven't been trying to add another link, just edit the end of the recruiting message for my clan, when I try to edit it, it comes up with a Spam protection filter page that says 1 site that it doesn't like, but it's different each time, but the thing they all have in common is being on the site "freeforums.org", I'd have a look at the spam filter settings if you have access to them, it just doesn't like that site and thinks it is spam. [edit] A "Current" Clan List
Can I suggest removing the clans that havn't even participated in Fury (they havn't shown up on the ladder) for a number of weeks? Removing the inactive clans would make less clutter and make finding the actual clans that are on at the moment easier to find and that you know you're joining and active clan. - Even though I think it would be pretty difficult to actually join an inactive clan, I wouldn't mind seeing current information presented here. However simply not showing up on the ladders doesn't necessarily mean a clan is inactive. It is quite possible to play pug games, /teamchallenge, or even play non-ladder gametypes. This doesn't mean that a clan is inactive. How do you propose we verify inactivity? ockhams 21:51, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well obviously the clans on the Ladder are safe, but the others as you have mentioned, would be tough to keep tags on, other than seeing them in game. Maybe you could have a page of active clans that are participating in the ladder? Nakid 00:36, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
